Much About the Dutch

Professional help for foreigners in the Netherlands

"Much About the Dutch" was started on the 1st of February 1998 by five expatriates from America, England, Denmark, Malaysia and Australia. The reason for starting up such a company was that these expatriates felt that there was no where they could turn to for help in what was to them a foreign country. There was a lot of information about how to live in The Netherlands but there was no one who could help them personally. They wanted someone who they could trust to help them carry out tasks that they found difficult as non-natives.

These five businessmen/women did not have the time to go to an off-line business and get help and because they were working during the day, they found it difficult to do what they needed to do during the day. That is why they created this company. Expatriates and other non-natives could come to them for help on-line rather than do everything themselves and waste a lot of time.

We have twenty personnel. Fifteen are experts in their field and speak fluent Dutch and English. Apart from these languages there are also people who speak fluent, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Russian. We also have five consultants in our team who advise on for example Dutch laws and regulations.
