Question: Do people in Holland speak English?
Answer:   Yes, they do. English is spoken by almost everyone. A survey in "Newsweek" magazine found that Dutch teenagers' vocabulary, fluency and confidence in using English exceeded that of many of their European counterparts. In addition, many Dutch people speak German and French.

Question: Do I need a visa or other papers to enter Holland?

All major roads in Holland have crash barriers, many highways are treated with a special material which makes it very safe to drive, even in inclement weather.The maximum speed limits are as follows:

  1. In residential areas: 50 km per hour
  2. Outside residential areas: 80 km per hour
  3. On the motorways: 100-120 km per hour, unless otherwise indicated
