The origin of Champagne dates back to the ancient times when the kings and queens of France savoured the delicate grape endlessly. Until now, Champagne stands for presitige, power, and wealth. For the most glorious occasions the tickling pleasure is not to be mist; served in a bucket- the wine cheers up everyone.
The Champenois, as the producers are known, are fiercely protective of this name. The label Champagne acts as guarantee that the wine has been produced in the cold, northern French region, and nowhere else. Unfortunately, the name is misused very often these days, destroyed by low quality substitutes for the original.
