Ical in a nutshell....
I was born on 15 December 1978 in a town named Fakfak (Papua). I
am the 2nd son of Drs.Habuddin and Fathimah H.Baharuddin. I completed my basic
school at SD Negeri Pongtiku II, Makassar (1984-1990). Next, I continued my
junior high school at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Makassar (1990-1993). In
1993, I was enrolled as a student at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Program Khusus
(MAPK) Makassar, a boarding school governed by the Ministry of Religious
Affairs. I ended my boarding school in 1996. I went to college in 1996 to pursue
my bachelor degree in the School of Law, the University of Hasanuddin, Makassar.
It took 5 years to complete my undergraduate studies in 2001. Meantime, I was
invited by the Supreme Court of Indonesia to be recruited as a lower court's
judge. I passed all the test held by it to start running my office in December
2001 at the District Court of Pangkajene, South Sulawesi-Indonesia. I was there
for 4 years and I got my tour of duty on March 2005. On March 2005, I was sworn
as a judge of the Lower Court of Tual, Southeast Maluku, Indonesia. Now, I'm
studying International Protection of Human Rights at the University of Utrecht,
the Netherlands under the International Fellowships Program of Ford Foundation
Based on New York, USA.
