Our trip, which starts in Christchurch and ends in Auckland allows you to experience the essence of the South and North Islands of New Zealand in 28 days.Whether you prefer to relax or take advantage of the neverending outdoor activities, backpack2gether will make it possible for you.The philosophy of backpacking is freedom, this is why we provide you with accomodation, transport and meals, it is up to you how you plan your day activities and staying at one place for two nights or more, will give you the opportunity to travel at leisure.

backpack2gether owns its own vehicles, this has proved to be the only way we can cut costs and retain quality.
Furthermore the agreements we have with hostels and lodges also enable us to decrease accomodation costs.
backpack2gether was first set up in May 2005 by a student of the University of Maastricht and is used for educational purposes only.
